The Bucknell Golf Club is a semi-private golf club, as well as the home course for the Bucknell men’s and women’s golf teams. BGC has the distinct honor of being ranked as one of the top 7 college golf courses on the East Coast while also having the privilege of being selected to host multiple US Open Qualifiers over the past 15 years.
The Bucknell Golf Club will serve as the host site of the Patriot League Men’s Golf Championship for the sixth time, matching the Naval Academy Golf Club (Navy) and Seven Oaks Golf Course (Colgate) as the most-played course for the event. The championship was last held at Bucknell in 2012 with Navy capturing the team title and Army’s William Park taking medalist honors. Bucknell won the championship on its home course in 2007. The Black Knights won the team championship but the Bison’s Charles Waddell took the individual title in 2005. Navy won in 2000 and Army won the first League championship held in Lewisburg, in 1994.
