Faulk Wins All-Around at the USAG Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Andrew Faulk led all gymnasts at the USAG Collegiate Division Championships on Friday night in Colorado Springs, Colo., as the senior took the all-around title with a score of 84.3. Air Force won the team competition with a score of 341.050, while Navy placed third in the varsity division with a score of 326.900. William & Mary came in second with a team score of 331.850.
In winning the all-around title, Faulk advanced to Saturday night's individual finals in five events. On Friday night, Faulk took first in the vault (14.6), placed second on the high bar (14.2), tied for third in the floor exercise (14.4), took fourth in the rings (15.0) and tied for 11th in the parallel bars (13.45). He will compete in the individual finals in vault, high bar, floor exercise, rings and parallel bars at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
Navy's Chris Junghans took third in the all-around on Friday with a season-high score of 82.00, narrowly finishing behing William & Mary's J.J. Jindra by 0.2. Junghans advanced to Saturday's individual finals in two events as he tied for fourth on the pommel horse with a 13.85 and tied Faulk for 11th on the parallel bars with a 13.45.
Sophomore Nate Gessner scored a 13.15 on the pommel horse and a 14.15 on the vault, as both marks qualified him for the individual finals in the respective events on Saturday.
Aaron Ingram placed 11th with a 13.8 on the high bar and will also compete in the individual finals.
