WEST POINT, N.Y. - Navy gymnast Dylan Parrott (Jr./Rockwell, N.C.) earned a spot in the NCAA Championship high bar finals with a seventh-place performance during the NCAA Championship prelims on Friday night in Christl Arena.

Parrott registered a score of 14.65 points from the judges to finish only 0.4-point behind Michigan's Ian Makowske, who led the way with a 15.05-point routine. The Navy junior tied for seventh place with Illinois-Chicago's Andrew Stover and Stanford's Abhinav Ramani.

The top-ten gymnasts in each event earned a spot in the NCAA Championship individual event finals, which will take place tonight at 7 p.m. Parrott will aim for NCAA All-America status this evening, as the top-eight performers in each event will be distinguished with the honor.
