ANNAPOLIS, Md. - For the final time in his career, Navy senior Andrew Faulk was named the USAG National Collegiate Division Gymnast of the Week. The award is the eighth of the season for Faulk and 15th of his career.

Faulk placed 13th in the all-around with a score of 84.75 at the NCAA Championships on April 20. He posted a 14.25 on the floor exercise, 14.1 on the pommel horse, 14.75 on the vault, 14.05 on the parallel bars, 14.05 on the horizontal bar and a 13.55 on the rings.

It was his second consecutive trip to the national all-around finals, as last year he placed 18th.

Faulk, a native of San Antonio, Texas, had a spectacular final season for the Midshipmen. He ranked in the top 10 in the nation in all-around average all season and was named the ECAC Gymnast of the Year after winning conference championships in the all-around, pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Faulk was also one of six nominees for the Nissen-Emery Award, which goes to the nation's top senior gymnast.
