ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Navy gymnast Andrew Faulk (So./San Antonio, Texas) was honored as the USAG Division National Gymnast of the Week, it was announced by College Gymnastics Association last week.
During Navy's Blue-Gold Intrasquad Meet in late November, Faulk posted the team's highest scores in the all-around (84.95), floor exercise (14.55), still rings (14.25), vault (15.15) and high bar (13.65).
Last winter, Faulk was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year and earned USAG Collegiate Division All-America honors in the all-around and floor exercise.
The Midshipmen, who are ranked 15th in the national preseason coaches poll, will begin their 2010 season on Jan. 15 to partake in the West Point Open.
