Christopher in 2012 (Jr.): Played in nine of the 12 games in 2012, making three starts at close defense ... turned in six caused turnovers this season ... a member of the Mids' man-down unit that was ranked eighth nationally, stopping 75.0 percent (30 of 40) of its opponents' extra-man opportunities ... produced a pair of takeaways against Bucknell, while also picking up a pair of ground balls ... caused two turnovers against North Carolina and scooped up a pair of grounders ... made his first-collegiate start on Feb. 19 against Jacksonville ... subbed in for Nik Mullen who pushed up to pole because of an injury to Pat Kiernan ... grabbed a career-high tying three ground balls and caused a pair of turnovers against the Dolphins.
