Plumer in 2018 (Sr.): Selected to serve as co-captain alongside Jack Ray ... in a vote by his teammates following fall ball, he was selected to wear jersey #40 in honor of fallen Navy SEAL and former Navy lacrosse player Lt. Brendan Looney, who was killed in Afghanistan on Sept. 21, 2010.

2017 (Jr.):
Closed out the year with 21 gournd balls and 12 takeaways, while scoring four points on two goals and two assists in 13 appearances ... member of the Mids’ defensive unit that held Army scoreless for the final 18:32 of the contest while the Mids went on a 7-0 run to upset the Black Knights … Navy also held Army without a goal for the first 22 minutes of the game … the six goals by Army tied as the fewest by the Black Knights this season ... Navy’s defense held Colgate scoreless for nearly 21 minutes between the second and third quarters ... after giving up an extra-man goal two minutes into the game at Holy Cross, the Mids’ defense held the Crusaders scoreless for 33 minutes while Navy built an 8-1 lead ... also held them off the board for nearly 20 minutes between the third and fourth quarters ... the Mids held Holy Cross to just eight shots in the first half, including two in the opening quarter ... dealt out an assist, grabbed a pair of ground balls and forced two turnovers against the Crusaders ... part of Navy’s defensive unit that held Lehigh off the board for the first 17-and-a-half minutes to allow the Mids to jump out to a 3-0 lead, a lead it would not relinquish  en route to a 14-9 win ... member of the Mids’ defense that held Dartmouth to a season-low tying six goals and scoring droughts of 18 (2/3Qtr) and 13 minutes (4Qtr) ... also picked up three ground balls ... forced two Loyola turnovers and grabbed a pair of ground balls ... 2016 (So.): A member of the Mids’ starting defensive unit that finished the 2016 campaign ranked #2 in the country and #1 in the Patriot League in scoring defense (7.38) ... it’s the Mids’ lowest goals-against average since they surrendered a stingy 6.50 goals per game in 2008 ... Navy (16 gms), Monmouth (14 gms) and Detroit (12 gms) allowed the fewest goals in the country with 118 ... Navy gave up double digit goals in 6 of its 16 games in 2016 ... the Mids have held 15 of their last 29 opponents to scoring droughts of 20 minutes or more ... one of the most improved players on the roster, Plumer successfully made the move from offensive midfield to full-time defensive midfield ... a dangerous player in transition, he contributed 6 points on 3 goals and 3 assists ... also produced 47 ground balls and forced the third-most turnovers on the team with 22 ... the 22 turnovers are the seventh most in school history ... part of a unit that held Brown to 11 goals, the second fewest by the Bears over the course of the season (10 vs. Harvard), in the NCAA Quarterfinals ... Navy also held the Crusaders scoreless for the final 18:18 of the contest ... the three goals scored by Holy Cross since dropping a 13-3 decision to Army West Point in 2014 ... turned in a career-high tying 3 caused turnovers and grabbed a personal-best 6 ground balls in the win over Holy Cross ... also punched in his third career goal and first of the season ... Navy went on an 8-1 run against Lehigh (11:48 2Qtr - 0:37 3Qtr) to take a 9-3 lead after the Mids’ defense held the Mountain Hawks to scoring droughts of 17:10 and 13:09 ... caused 2 turnovers, grabbed 3 ground balls and dealt out an assist to John Trainor that capped a 4-0 run by the Mids in the second quarter of their win at Lehigh ... part of a defensive unit that held Lafayette scoreless for the first 19:12 of the game and the final 19:51 en route to an 11-4 win ... the four goals scored were a season low by the Leopards and it marked the third straight meeting in the series that Navy’s defense has held Lafayette to five or fewer goals ... earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors (3.21) after playing one of his best games in a Navy uniform in the Mids’ win over Loyola ... held the Greyhounds’ Romar Dennis scoreless on 5 shots, while forcing one turnover, grabbing 5 ground balls and dealing out an assist ... Navy’s defense held Bucknell, who was averaging 11.75 goals per game, to a season-low 6 goals in what was also the fewest goals scored by the Bison in the series since 2008 ... Bucknell was held scoreless for nearly 30 minutes (28:26) between the second and fourth quarters ... turned in 4 ground balls and a career-best 3 caused turnovers in the league opener at Boston U. ... part of a defensive unit that held Delaware to just one goal ... it was the fewest goals scored by a Navy opponent since the Mids defeated Army West Point in the semifinals of the 2007 Patriot League Tournament, 12-1 ... it was also the fewest goals scored by a Delaware team since dropping an 8-1 decision to Fairleigh Dickinson in 1969 ... dealt out an assist to long pole Matt Rees for the score just 14 seconds into the Delaware contest ... also grabbed 5 ground balls.

2015 (Fr.): Played in all 14 contests, seeing time as both an offensive and defensive middie ... produced 3 points on 2 goals and 1 assist ... picked up a career-high 3 ground balls and forced a turnover in the win over Air Force ... registered a career-best 2 caused turnovers at Colgate ... dealt out his first career assist in Navy’s win over Lafayette where he also caused a turnover and picked up a ground ball ... punched in an unassisted goal on what was his only shot of the game in the Mids’ loss at #17 Johns Hopkins ... made his collegiate debut in the Mids’ opener against VMI where he scored a goal.

More on Plumer: A 2013 graduate of Kent Island High School in Kent Island, Md., Plumer attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2013-14 academic year ... a three-sport standout who earned letters in basketball (3), football (2) and lacrosse (4) ... named a Brine National All-American ... a finalist for the C.
