Durkin in 2008 (Jr.): A member of Navy's second midfield line, Durkin played a pivotal role on the offense ... having played in just eight games in his first two seasons combined, he saw action in all 16 contests in his junior year ... contributed eight goals, including not only his first collegiate goal in the Mids' season opener against VMI, but also the game-winner ... scored five of his eight goals at neutral sites, including a career-high four goals against Colgate in the semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament ... it marked the first time in his career he has turned in multiple goals or points in a game ... named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team ... scored one goal each against Patriot League foes Lafayette, Holy Cross and Bucknell ... half of his season goals were scored in the fourth quarter.
