A native of Fallston, Md. and product of St. Pauls School, Parks joined the Navy lacrosse staff as a volunteer assistant coach in August of 2017. He began his playing career at North Carolina before transferring to Towson in the fall of 2014. A starter at attack in 35 of the 36 games in which he played, he recorded 79 points on 45 goals and 34 assists in his two seasons at Towson. In his first season with the Tigers, he produced 31 points on 16 goals and 15 assists before closing out his career as the team's second-leading scorer (29-19=48) and guiding Towson to the 2016 NCAA Quarterfinals. He was responsible for four game-winners his senior campaign, including the final marker against Fairfield in the CAA Championship.
While finishing his degree, Parks served as a student assistant with Towson during the 2016 fall semester. After graduating in December, he joined the coaching staff at St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C. where he focused on the offense under head coach Wes Speaks. Not only did he coach numerous all-conference players, he helped guide the program to the WCAC title.
