2014 - SENIOR: Served as team captain ... saw action in all 20 games and made six starts ... played in a variety of roles for Navy in 2014 ... tied for third on the team with 10 points on three goals and four assists ... had three points on one goal and one assist in Navy's 5-0 win over Appalachian State on Sept. 5 ... scored an insurance goal in the 89th minute in Navy's 2-0 over #20 American on Oct. 8 ... scored the game-winning goal in the 59th minute of Navy's 2-1 win over Holy Cross on Oct. 25 ... had an assist on Jamie Dubyoski's second goal in Navy's 2-0 win over eventual College Cup Semifinal squad UMBC on Oct. 21 ... Fries also had assists in Navy's wins over Central Connecticut State and Colgate ... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2013 - JUNIOR: Saw action in all 22 games at the forward position and made 14 starts ... tallied seven points on three goals and one assist ... assisted on Jamie Dubyoski's game-winning goal in Navy's 3-0 win at George Washington on Sept. 21 ... scored his first goal of the season in the Patriot League Championship (Nov. 17) ... Fries had the game-winning goal in the 39th minute as Navy won the league title over Holy Cross, 2-0 ... followed the Holy Cross game with a two-goal performance in Navy's NCAA First Round 3-0 win over VCU (Nov. 21) ... Fries scored insurance goals in the 71st minute and the 76th minute ... became the eighth player in Navy history to have a multi-goal performance in an NCAA Tournament game ... played 30 or more minutes in 19 games.
2012 - SOPHOMORE: Fries played in 13 games with eight starts as a sophomore, missing four games with an injury ... tallied four points on two goals during the season ... scored first career goal, the game-winner, in the 3-1 win over then-Big East member Pittsburgh ... added another goal against Holy Cross later in the season which tied the game at 1-1 right after halftime ... recorded eight shots on the season, firing two against both Delaware and Richmond.
2011 - FRESHMAN: Fries appeared in 17 games last fall accounting for 447 minutes ... did not play in contests against UNC Greensboro and Richmond ... tallied 12 shots on the season including two against Fairleigh Dickinson, American and Howard ... played a season-high 62 minutes in the regular-season finale at Colgate.
PERSONAL: Fries lettered three times in soccer at Broken Arrow High School, graduating in 2011 ... also lettered in cross country ... led Broken Arrow to the 2011 Oklahoma Class 6A state championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the title game with just under 40 seconds left ... led his club team, Tulsa Soccer Club, to a state title in 2011 ... was also a member of the 2009 state champion cross country team at Broken Arrow ... as a senior, was first-team all-district, first-team all-conference, first-team all-metro, first-team all-state and was the all-state team captain ... served as the team captain on both his club and high school squads ... was an all-district performer as a junior ... competed in the Class 6A Oklahoma all-star game ... was a member of National Honor Society ... born in Tulsa, Okla. ... son of Dennis and Ann Fries ... majoring in operations research.
