2012 - JUNIOR: Sanchez suffered a high ankle sprain midway through the season, limiting him to eight games played with seven starts ... missed nine games from Sept. 22 to Oct. 27 ... tallied his first career goal in a 5-0 blanking of Richmond ... was named to the Holiday Inn Express BWI All-Tournament Team after helping Navy to a 2-0 victory over Robert Morris in the Mids' home opener ... has now started 41 of the 42 games that he has played in during his career.

2011 - SOPHOMORE: Sanchez had another strong season, appearing in 18 games (all starts) and scoring one assist with 10 shots ... was named to the NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic Region third team for the second straight year, one of nine freshmen or sophomores named to the team ... last year, he was one of just two freshmen named to the squad ... was also selected as a member of the Patriot League all-Tournament team after a strong performance against American in the semifinals ... recorded his first career point, an assist, on Navy's first goal of the game against Richmond, a tally by Billy Sweetman ... led a strong defensive effort late in the year, as the Midshipmen allowed just two goals in the last five games ... missed the Longwood game with an injury ... despite missing a game, ranked third on the team in minutes played (1,480) and would have likely led the team if he didn't miss the Longwood contest.

2010 - FRESHMAN: Despite registering no points and just two shots on the season, Sanchez had one of the top freshman seasons in school history, starting all 16 games ... was a dominant force on the Navy defense, helping the Mids rank 22nd nationally, and first in the Patriot League, in goals against average, allowing just 13 goals all season long ... Navy held 12 of its 16 opponents to one or fewer goals, while recording seven shutouts ... was named to the 33-member CollegeSoccerNews.com Freshman All-America Team as a second-team honoree ... was also named to the NSCAA Division I All-Mid-Atlantic Region third team, one of just two freshmen in the region to be named to one of the three squads ... was named to the UMBC / Navy Kick-off All-Tournament team on Sept. 7 ... was selected as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 13, after helping hold UMBC scoreless in a 2-0 Navy victory ... the Retrievers had entered the game by scoring 10 goals in three games and finished the year ranked 34th in the country in scoring offense.
