ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- recently sat down with Navy sophomore goalkeeper Aaron Dupere to find out more about the men's soccer player from Royal Palm Beach, Fla. Dupere had a sensational freshman season, leading the Patriot League in GAA (0.78), while ranking third on the Navy single-season GAA list. His 0.78 GAA was the third-best nationally a year ago by a freshman. A true outdoorsman, Dupere is a fan of Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) and his favorite summer vacation is camping with his family.

The Navy men's soccer team opens its 2011 season on Friday, Aug. 26 with an 8:00 pm match a VCU and on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Old Dominion. The home opener will be the following Thursday (Sept. 1) against Fairleigh Dickinson beginning at 7:00 pm at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
