ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Tickets for the 2014 Navy men's and women's soccer season are now on sale. The Navy men will play 10 home games at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility while the Navy women will play nine home games.
Individual game tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets at the group rate of $3 per ticket by calling 410-293-8791 or 410-293-8743. To purchase tickets, please visit the links at the top of the page or call 1-800-US4-NAVY.
The Navy men's soccer team will host Appalachian State in its home opener on Sept. 5 at 7:00 PM.
The Navy women's soccer team's home opener will be against Maryland on Monday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 PM as part of a doubleheader with the men's team, who will also face Maryland at 8:00 PM. Only one ticket is needed for the Navy-Maryland doubleheader.
In addition to the Navy-Maryland doubleheader, other schedule highlights include the Navy men hosting UMBC on Oct. 21 and the Navy women hosting Army in the Star Game on Oct. 31.
The Navy men will once again be facing Army at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. Tickets for that game (Nov. 7) can be purchased at comcasttix.com.
The Navy women finished the 2013 season with an overall record of 16-5-0 after winning the Patriot League Regular Season with an 8-1-0 mark. Navy returns seven starters, five all-league players and two-time All-American defender Jade Seabrook for the 2014 fall season.
The Navy men (16-4-2, 9-0-0 PL) finished the 2013 season ranked No. 25 in the NSCAA Poll after advancing to the NCAA Second Round. The Mids won the Patriot League Tournament and Regular Season Championships and blanked VCU, 3-0, in the NCAA First Round. Navy has five returning starters, including 2013 All-American defender Joseph Greenspan.
This is the first time in Navy history that both the men's and women's programs have returning All-Americans in the same season.
