ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- recently sat down with Navy sophomore goalkeeper Gavin Snyder to find out more about the men's soccer player from Severna Park, Md. Snyder was a high school rival of yesterday's Meet The Mid (Guy Skord) and his best sporting event he has ever attended was the Army-Navy football game.

The Navy men's soccer team opens its 2011 season on Friday, Aug. 26 with an 8:00 pm match a VCU and on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Old Dominion. The home opener will be the following Thursday (Sept. 1) against Fairleigh Dickinson beginning at 7:00 pm at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
