ANNAPOLIS, Md. --NavySports.com recently sat down with Navy senior defenseman Billy Sweetman to find out more about the men's soccer player from Austin, Texas. Sweetman started all 16 games a year ago, scoring three points (1 g, 1 a) including his first career goal against Holy Cross on Oct. 23.

The Navy men's soccer team opens its 2011 season on Friday, Aug. 26 with an 8:00 pm match a VCU and on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Old Dominion. The home opener will be the following Thursday (Sept. 1) against Fairleigh Dickinson beginning at 7:00 pm at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
