ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- NavySports.com recently sat down with Navy junior midfielder Michael Rakoczy to find out more about the men's soccer player from Cincinnati, Ohio. Rakoczy was a NSCAA second-team All-Mid Atlantic Region selection and second-team All-Patriot League pick a year ago after scoring 11 points (5 g, 1 a) in 2010. A Cincinnati native, Rakoczy likes everything Cincy (the Reds, Chad Ochocinco, Cincinnati style chili).

The Navy men's soccer team opens its 2011 season on Friday, Aug. 26 with an 8:00 pm match at VCU and on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Old Dominion. The home opener will be the following Thursday (Sept. 1) against Fairleigh Dickinson beginning at 7:00 pm at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
