Princeton Forfeits Friday's Sprint Football Contest Versus Navy
Sept. 17, 2013
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Due to a limited number of active players available, Princeton has forfeited this Friday's (Sept. 20) sprint football game with Navy. The win by forfeit improves Navy's record to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play on the young season.
"It's unfortunate that this is the outcome, but this will give our squad another week to get healthy, better ourselves and prepare for Mansfield next week," said Navy head coach Maj. Kavan Lake, USMC.
The Midshipmen will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 27 when they host Mansfield. The game will be played at 7 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
