Green (Jr./Indianapolis, Ind.) and linebacker Tyler Hawkins (So./Canyon Country, Calif.) have been recognized as the CSFL Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. This marks the second time this season that Navy has earned the league's weekly honors on offense and defense and the first for Green and Hawkins in their career. Green engineered an offense that chalked up 35 points over the first-three quarters of play en route to a convincing 35-14 win over defending CSFL champion Cornell on Sunday at the Pride Bowl.
