Sprint Football to Take On Pennsylvania

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Oct. 18) - The Navy sprint football team will play its first home game of the season Friday at 7:30 p.m. when the Midshipmen play host to Pennsylvania at Rip Miller Field.

The Mids (2-1, 1-0) began Collegiate Sprint Football League play last Friday when they defeated Cornell, 28-12. Penn comes into Friday night's action with a record of 2-0, posting victories over Cornell, 20-0, and Princeton, 29-0.

Leading the way for the Mids are seniors Ben Wilson (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Dave Hartman (Philadelphia, Pa.). Wilson, a wide receiver, leads the Mids in receiving with 14 receptions for 216 yards and in scoring with three touchdowns. Hartman, a defensive lineman, leads the Mids in tackles with 23.
