ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Due to mounting injuries, the Princeton Tigers have forfeited this Friday's (Oct. 21) sprint football game with Navy. The win by forfeit improves Navy's record to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
"It's unfortunate, but this will give us another week to get healthy and prepare for Cornell next weekend," said Navy head coach Maj. Mitch Maury, USMC.
The Collegiate Sprint Football League-leading Midshipmen will now be back in action on Friday, Oct. 28 when they host Cornell. The game will be played at 7 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
