Junior lineman Chris Mershon (Jr., Lee’s Summit, Mo.) was the team’s first honoree on Sept. 18 as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Quoting the Coach
Coach Lake on this week’s matchup with Cornell …
“They’re coming off of a win last week so we’re sure their confidence level is way up. We have to start fast to make sure we can cut down that confidence. As we always say we’re going to play our game and not take anything for granted. We’re going to play hard for all four quarters.”
