2007-08 -- Set a career-best time of 1:40.36 in placing 10th in the 200 free at the EISL Meet ... his top 500 free clocking of 4:40.75 came during the Navy Invite ... won the 100 free against Catholic, George Washington and Loyola.

2006-07 -- Placed 19th in the 200 free and 24th in the 1000 free at the EISL Meet ... recorded his season-best time of 48.19 in the 100 free while leading off Navy's 400 free relay team against Army ... also posted his best 1000 free time of 9:36.62 against the Black Knights.

High School -- Graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School ... his swimming team won its league title in 2005 ... was selected as the team MVP during his senior season.

Personal -- John Phillip Curran ... born Oct. 14, 1987, in Frankfurt, Germany ... sister, Meggie, graduated from Navy in 2007 and competed on the women's soccer team ... economics major.
