Academic Honors: Garnered Honorable Mention All-Scholar Athlete laurels from the CSCAA in 2009 ... has been named to Navy's Commandant's Lists in six semesters and to the Dean's List three times ... was placed onto the 2011 Patriot League All-Academic Team ... also was named to the 2009, `10 and `11 Patriot League Academic Honor Rolls.
Athletic Honors: Has been named First-Team All-Patriot League in each of his three years ... earned 2010 Honorable Mention Mid-Major All-America laurels from CollegeSwimming.com and garnered first-team accolades in 2011 ... has posted a 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials cut time in the 200 fly.
2010-11: Placed 29th in the trial heats of the 200 fly at the NCAA Championship ... won the 200 fly, placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 fly at the Patriot League Meet ... recorded times of 49.06 in the 100 fly, 1:44.80 in the 200 fly and 1:49.57 in the 200 IM ... posted 10 wins in 11 200 fly races during the regular season ... also tallied five 100 fly wins on the year ... tabbed as the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 1 ... 2010 Summer -- Competed at the U.S. Summer Nationals.
2009-10: Placed second in the 200 fly, fourth in the 100 back and sixth in the 200 IM at the Patriot League Championship ... helped Navy win the 200 medley and 400 medley relay titles at the championship ... totaled eight individual event victories and 12 second-place showings during the regular season.
2009 Summer: Competed at the USA Swimming World Championship Trials ... advanced to the C final (sixth place) in the 200 fly.
2008-09: Placed second in the 200 fly, third in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 fly ... posted eight wins in the 100 fly and three in the 200 fly, plus 16 second-place showings in the two events during the regular season.
2008 Summer: Competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 200 fly (36th).
High School: Graduated from Walt Whitman High School ... earned All-America honors in his last three seasons ... won division crowns in the 50 free (2007), 100 fly (`07 & `08) and 200 free (`08) ... also won several county titles and earned multiple all-area honors.
Personal: Was a teammate of older brother Adam (`10) for two seasons at Navy ... previously, mother (`80), father (`80) and uncle (`82) all graduated from Navy ... systems engineering major.
