Athletic Honors –– Earned Second-Team All-Patriot League honors in both 2015 and ‘16.
2015-16 –– Placed second in the 100 fly at the Patriot League Championship while also winning the consolation final in both the 100 breast and 200 fly at the meet ... set career-best times in both fly events (47.42, 1:47.71) at the meet ... attained a career-best clocking of 55.64 in the 100 breast against Army West Point ... totaled four victories during the regular season in the 100 fly and was part of five victorious relay teams ... also finished in second place three times in the 100 fly.
2014-15 –– Placed second in the 100 fly and 12th in the 100 breast at the Patriot League Championship ... his 100 breast time of 56.46 at the meet was a season-best clocking ... his season-best time of 48.28 in the 100 fly came in a second-place finish against Army ... that was one of his six second-place finishes in the event during the regular season.
2013-14 –– Placed fourth in the 100 fly and 12th in the 100 breast at the ECAC Championship ... also helped the Mids place second in the 200 medley relay ... posted a trio of season-best times at the meet: 57.98, 100 breast; 49.06, 100 fly; 1:58.36, 200 fly.
High School –– Graduated from Boardman High School ... was a four-year member of the school’s swimming team ... won the 100 fly title at the 2013 state meet ... earned all-state (Ohio) honors in each of his final three seasons ... also garnered All-America accolades as a junior and senior ... received Scholastic All-America laurels in 2013 ... swam for Penguin Swimming.
Personal –– Operations research major ... sister, Brooke, is a sophomore on the Navy women’s swimming team.
