Duvall Earns League Swimming Honor

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Navy's Tom Duvall (So., Durham, N.H.) garnered his third Patriot League Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week award of the season this week for his efforts during recent meets against Johns Hopkins and Columbia.
He first won the 100 and 200 free races while also helping the Mids place second in the 400 freestyle relay against Johns Hopkins. Duvall posted a time of 46.39 to win the 100 free by one-third of a second before winning the 200 free by over six-tenths of a second with his time of 1:39.79.
Two days later against Columbia, Duvall recorded a time of 4:32.50 to win the 500 free and touched the wall in a time of 9:22.34 to win the 1000 free. Duvall had a combined margin of victory of 9.21 seconds in the two races. Additionally on the day, he was part of Navy's victorious 400 free relay team.
