Navy's Duvall Named League Swimmer of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- A pair of wins during Navy's meet against Johns Hopkins earned Navy's Tom Duvall (Fr., Durham, N.J.) this week's Patriot League Men's Swimmer-of-the-Week accolade on Monday.
Duvall posted a time of 1:53.98 to win the 200m freestyle by one-tenth of a second against the Blue Jays during the Feb. 6 meet between the teams in Lejeune Hall. He then recorded a clocking of 4:06.26 to win the 400m free by nearly one-half of a second.
Duvall has now won the 200 free three times this season and has tallied nine wins in the 400m / 500y free event.
Navy will next enter the championship meet portion of its season, which starts Feb. 21-23 when the Mids take part in the Patriot League Championship on the Bucknell campus in Lewisburg, Pa.
