All fans without a Department of Defense identification card will need to either park outside of the Naval Academy and walk through the gate one security checkpoint or else ride the free shuttle bus to and from The Yard. Fans can catch the shuttle bus from the blue (west) side parking lot of Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. There is a $5 per vehicle fee to park at the stadium. Shuttle bus service will begin at 5 p.m. and run until 9:30 p.m.

There is no admission charge for the meet, with all 1,000 seats in the facility available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Both Navy teams enter the meet with identical records of 3-2 this season. One of the two losses suffered by each team was to a Virginia program that has swept Atlantic Coast Conference titles in each of the last six years, with the other being narrow losses to Bucknell.

"This will be an exciting meet for our team," said Navy women's swimming head coach John Morrison. "This is the first time our seniors will have the opportunity to swim against Army at home during their tenure. As always, we will need a full team effort to compete in this meet." "It is and honor and privilege to be part of this rivalry as a whole, especially during the week of the football game," said Navy men's swimming head coach Bill Roberts. "We approach this with the effort, intensity and commitment which this rivalry deserves. Our goal on Thursday is to make everyone who has even been a part of this meet proud." The Army men have compiled a 3-1 record this fall and the Army women's team has posted a 2-2 record.

Last year's Army-Navy meet was held at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Philadelphia. The two Navy teams combined to win 23 of the 32 events contested on the day to sweep the Black Knights. Navy's women's team recorded a 207-93 win while the Navy men tallied a 196-104 victory.

Both of the Navy teams return just four athletes who won an event against Army one year ago. On the women's side, this foursome is comprised of Ange Sawick (Jr., Abington, Pa.), 500 and 1000 freestyle; Rheanna Vaughn (Sr., Aliso Viejo, Calif.), 200 fly; Maddi Thompson (So., Jersey Shore, Pa.), 100 free and Julie Jesse (So., Edwardsburg, Mich.), one-meter diving. Returning event winners for the Navy men are Tom Duvall (So., Durham, N.H.), 500 and 1000 freestyle; Hugh Davison (Sr., Towson, Md.), 200 free; Brendan Walsh (Jr., Annapolis, Md.), 100 and 200 backstroke and Sean Murphy (Sr., Hudson, Ohio), 100 and 200 breaststroke.

Navy's women's team has won 24-straight meets against Army, while the Navy men have defeated the Black Knights in each of the last 22 seasons.

Thursday's meet will be the first in the series to be held on The Yard since December 2009. Last year's meet was originally slated to be contested in Lejeune Hall, but had to be moved due to the delayed completion date for the renovation of the facility. The 2010 meet also was held in Philadelphia, with the 2011 meeting between the teams taking place at Army.
