Academic Honors -- Has received academic honors from the USNA in one semester.

2014-15 -- Ended the year with records of 7-11 in singles and 8-6 in doubles ... six of his singles losses were in three sets ... played at Nos. 2, 3, 5 and 6 flights in singles during the spring ... recorded marks of 2-2 at both the Nos. 2 and 6 positions ... won a 6-4, 6-4 decision at No. 6 singles in Navy's match vs. No. 53 San Francisco ... tallied a 5-3 record in doubles during the dual match season ... played all but two of those matches at the No. 3 flight ... one of the losses with a tiebreaker setback (10-8) against the College of Charleston.

2013-14 -- Compiled a 13-11 record in singles during the dual match portion of the year ... played the majority of his matches (19) at No. 5 singles where he posted a 9-10 record ... his most successful stretch of the year saw him post an 8-1 record over a nine-match span ... also tallied a 13-11 record in doubles during the spring season ... this includes a 5-3 record against league opponents ... finished the year with a 12-11 record at No. 3 doubles ... suffered four losses to players from nationally-ranked teams. ... combined with Alex Gaines for a 13-8 record as a doubles tandem ... the team put together a 12-8 mark at No. 3 doubles ... the Gaines-Jana duo closed the season with a 6-1 record over its last seven matches.

High School -- Graduated from Clear Falls High School ... lettered in tennis in each of his four years at the school ... served as the captain of the team ... placed third at the state championship as a senior ... was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society ... was ranked among the top-25 players in the state of Texas throughout his last four years ... attained a highest ranking of No. 145 on tennisrecruiting.net.
