• A graduate of Danbury high school, where he competed on the cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams
• Helped Danbury to three consecutive indoor and outdoor track Connecticut state championships (2009-11)
• Garnered all-New England accolades in indoor track as a senior
• Earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and junior
• Collected all-state, all-New England and all-conference mentions in outdoor track as a senior
• Captured all-state and all-conference honors in cross country as a junior and senior
• Son of Kevin and Kim Moore
