Career Performance Lists

2011-12 (Sophomore Season):
• Posted an outdoor season-best mark of 44-11¾ (13.71m) in the shot put at the Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet, placing sixth
• Also placed sixth in the shot put at the Point Loma Open with a mark of 43-10 (13.36m)
• Placed third in the shot put at the indoor Navy Six-Team Meet with a mark of 44-4¾ (13.53m)
• Posted a season-best mark of 48-10¼ (14.89m) in the weight throw to place eighth at the Navy Six-Team Meet
• Made a season-best hammer throw mark of 151-2 (46.08m) at the Navy Quad Meet
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

2010-11 (Freshman Season):
• Did not compete on the track and field team

High School / Personal:
• A 2010 graduate of Great Mills High School, Petett was a four-sport athlete who earned letters in baseball (1), football (3), lacrosse (1) and indoor track & field (3)
• An Honorable Mention All-State (Md.) football selection as a senior, who also garnered all-conference recognition
• Served as team captain of the football team his last two years and led team to the county title in 2009
• Member of the National Honor Society
• Son of Broderick and Debora Petett
• Majoring in mechanical engineering
• Serves as a squad leader in his company (Spring 2013)
• Has been named to the Superintendent's List twice and the Commandant's List twice
