Also placed seventh in the weight throw at the Patriot League Indoor Championships with a season-best throw of 51'9¾"
Placed third in the hammer throw at the Pt. Loma Invite, Navy Three-Team Meet and the Widener Open
Sophomore Season (2008-09):
Delivered breakthrough fourth-place effort in weight throw at conference championship
Produced career-best toss of 53'11" at that meet, smashing previous PR of 49'11"
That effort ranked fourth on the team and seventh among league throwers
Finished just out of scoring position in seventh in hammer at outdoor league meet
Increased his personal-best in the hammer by 31 feet, five inches
Also improved upon his freshman PR in the weight throw by nearly 11 feet
