Devin Enslen was the Track Athlete of the Week; Sean Brennan was the Field Athlete of the Week.
The track and field team recorded a dozen IC4A qualifying times/marks in the first meet of the year.
Navy finished in third place among the 50 schools competing.
Twenty-two Midshipmen will compete a combined 14 different events during the three-day event.
Navy tallied 67 total points as a team to lead all competition.

2016-17 (Sophomore Season):
Earned 2017 IC4A All-East Accolades during the outdoor season in the shot put … Thrower for the Midshipmen competing in the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season and the shot put, discus, and hammer during outdoor competition … Posted a first place finish with a season-best distance of 16.91m in the shot put at the Navy Open during the indoor season … Registered a season-long mark of 17.14m in the weight throw at the Spire Division I Invitational … Recorded season-best marks in the shot put (16.73m), discus (51.55m), and hammer throw (55.88m) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship finishing fifth, fourth, and fourth, respectively.
2015-16 (Freshman Season):
Threw a season-best 161ft (49.07m) in the hammer throw at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship for ninth place … Placed second at the Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet in the shot put at 53ft-3.5in (16.24m) … Hit season-high outdoor marks in both shot put (54ft-1.75in;16.50m) and discus (160ft; 48.77m) at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Collegiate Meet … Tallied a weight throw season-high mark of 57ft-2in (17.42m) at the Spire Division I Indoor Invite … Recorded a season-best shot put mark of 53ft-0.75in (16.17m) at the Spire Division I Indoor Invite.
