(Outdoor) Recorded the team's three-best distances in the hammer throw ... won the event in his first collegiate outdoor meet, the Point Loma Invitational, with a toss of 164'5" ... landed third in Navy's Three-Team Meet and against Army in the Star Meet ... narrowly missed scoring points at the league championship, placing seventh.
