Junior Season (2008-09):
• Solidified himself as one of the top throwers in the Mid-Atlantic region
• Concluded spring ranked 40th nationally in the hammer and 12th in the East Region (200-5)
• Became the fifth athlete in program history to earn Academic All-America status; one of only eight throwers nationally and the first at the Naval Academy to receive the prestigious honor
• Led a Navy sweep in capturing his first Patriot League weight throw title and then picked up
Field-Athlete-of the-Meet honors after successfully defending his hammer throw crown
• Earned All-East laurels in each event at the IC4A Championships, highlighted by a fourth-place and career-best 63-4 weight throw effort at the indoor meet
• Produced seven individual wins, highlighted by a Star Meet victory in the weight throw
• Surpassed NCAA Regional standard in the hammer seven times on the spring, securing a return trip to the East Regional meet
• Recognized as the Patriot League Field-Athlete of the Week five times during the indoor (2) and outdoor seasons (3), including three-straight weeks from (3/24-4/7)
• Became program's second Midshipman to earn league's scholar-athlete-of-the-year nod


Sophomore Season (2007-08):
• Claimed Patriot League Hammer Throw title with a winning toss of 191-6
• Placed second behind Navy teammate Chris Bordino in the weight throw with season-best, IC4A-qualifying 56-6.5 toss at Patriot League Indoor Championships
• Placed 19th in weight throw at IC4A Indoor Championships
• IC4A and NCAA Regional qualifier in the hammer throw; finished 11th in both meets
• Won a total of five hammer competitions on the spring, highlighted by victories at the outdoor league meet and against Army
• Threw a season-best and regional-qualifying 195-1 at the Penn Relays
• Improved a full 30-feet, five-inches on his freshman personal-best (164-7) in the hammer


Freshman Season (2006-07):
• Recorded team's three best distances in the hammer throw
• Point scorer with third-place hammer throw finish versus Army in outdoor Star Meet
• Narrowly missed scoring in the hammer at outdoor league championship, taking seventh


High School
• A 2005 graduate of Delbarton School in Morristown, N.J.
• Earned six letters in track & field and two in football
• Won N.J. Parochial Group A championship in the discus throw in 2005 & 2006
• Earned All-Area honors in the discus as a senior captain and team MVP
• As defensive end, helped football team to two conference titles

• Named to Commandant's List all six semesters and to Superintendent's List four times
