BOSTON, Mass. - The Navy men's indoor track and team scored nine points and placed 27th at the IC4A Indoor Championship at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center. A total of four Mids received IC4A All-East honors for top-eight performances. Connecticut won both the men's and women's team titles.
"We were hoping we could step up a little better this weekend and score some more points but we weren't really hitting on all cylinders," head coach Stephen Cooksey said. "We felt very good about our indoor season overall though and the kids are proud of what they were able to accomplish."
Junior Weston Kennedy earned IC4A All-East honors by placing fifth in the mile run with a personal-best time of 4:06.61. Kennedy earned Navy four team points.
"Wes did very well in his race," said Cooksey. "That was certainly a highlight for us today."
