Men's Track & Field Wraps Up Day One At IC4A Indoor Championships

Petett earned All-East honors by placing fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 62-11.5 (19.19m), earning all five team points. Senior Kyle Fortney took 14th in the weight throw at 58-0.25 (17.683m)
Navy had four athletes advance through the qualifying rounds of the running events
The Mids 4x400m relay of Brett Bogaard, Jeremy Cadiente, Nathan Gaines and Batiste not only placed first in the prelims with a time of 3:11.82 but broke the school record with the mark as well. The 4x400m relay squad will move forward to Sunday’s final.

Bogaard ran a 21.92 in the 200m dash to place 19th in the prelims. Cadiente was 20th (48.79) in the 400m dash prelims. Roberto Swersky and Max Dunn finished 18th and 28th respectively, in the 800m run with times of 1:53.54 and 1:54.40 in the prelims.
Zach Hebda and Ryan Kelley crossed the tape in order at the 5000m to finish 20th and 21st in the prelims. Isaac Losee placed 16th in the 60m high hurdles with a finishing time of 8.31.
Khaalif Wolfe missed the qualifying mark in the triple jump by 1ft-4in, finishing 11th with a mark of 46-6 (14.17m).
