ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy men's indoor track and field team (7-0) will compete at West Point on Sunday at 3:30 PM in the annual Army-Navy Star Meet at Gillis Field House.
Navy won the 2012 Indoor Star Meet, 98-83. The Mids won 10 of 17 events in 2012, and senior members of the Class of 2012 won eight of Navy's nine individual event victories. The Mids won both the shot put and the weight throw and won all six running events from the 400m to the 3,000m.
With last season's win, Navy improved its all-time series lead to 26-25-2 and 17-9-2 in Annapolis. The indoor series began in 1960 and Sunday will be the 54th meeting between Army and Navy in indoor track and field.

The Mids also won the Army-Navy Outdoor Star Meet last spring, winning at West Point, 102.5-100.5, in a meet that came down to the final race (4x400m relay).
The Mids enter the weekend ranked No. 3 in the USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Poll, down one spot from its No. 2 showing in the season-opening poll last week.
