Men's Track Team Tied For 13th At IC4A Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Navy men's track and fieldteam is tied for 13th out of 33 schools at the IC4A Track & Field Championship at Princeton, N.J. The Mids are tied with Manhattan, Harvard, Bucknell and Duke with 13 points apiece. Connecticut is winning the meet with 29.5 points, while Georgetown is in second with 28 points. Army is in 18th place with nine points.

Navy picked up six points in the pole vault, as Robert Koroly finished third with a leap of 16'00.75. The Mids only other points on the day came from Colin Kennedy, who finished eighth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 31:09.90. The Mids also placed two runners in the 1,500-meter finals as Aaron Lanzel ran a 3:49.03 and Erik Schmidt a 3:50.47. The meet will continue tomorrow with the majority of the finals taking place.
