ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Navy Director of Track and Field Jamie Cook announced the hiring of Andrea Sabbatine for the role of Director of Operations for the Navy track and field program. Sabbatine joins the Midshipmen after holding the same position at Washington State.

"We are excited to welcome Andrea to the Navy track and field family," Cook said. "It is an exciting time for our program as we finally integrate the men's and women's programs. Having a director of operations with Andrea's background and knowledge will bring loads of experience to our program and allow us to continue on our winning ways as we battle against Army and continue to battle in the Patriot League."

"I'm extremely honored to be welcomed on to the USNA track and field staff," said Sabbatine. "I look forward to the integration of the men's and women's programs and being able to be a part of this growing legacy. Go Navy!"
