CAREER: 29 goals, 35 assists, 64 points (74 games)

2016 (Senior): Scored 12 goals with a team-high 22 assists for 34 points in 26 games, while adding 34 steals on defense … Scored at least one point in 21 of 26 games played … Tallied a season-high three points against Toronto (1g, 2a), San Jose State (1g, 2a), and Mercyhurst (2g, 1 a) … Had a season-high two goals against Mercyhurst, while posting a season-best two assists in seven games – Gannon, Brown, Toronto, Bucknell, Fordham, San Jose State, and Johns Hopkins … Led the team in steals in six games, including a season-best four takeaways against Toronto.

2015 (Junior): Battled injuries during the middle of the season, but managed to play in 14 games and record 12 points on eight goals and four assists … Defensively, tallied nine steals … Started the year fast with points in six of the first seven games (5g, 1a) … Had a season-high two points (1g, 1a) versus Washington & Jefferson in the CWPA Championship Tournament.

2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 15 games, recording five points on two goals and three assists … Forced to the sidelines due to injury over the majority of the second half of the season … Factor on the defensive end in marking situations … Scored single goals against Washington & Jefferson and Penn State-Behrend at the Navy Open.

2013 (Freshman): Competed in 19 games for the Mids as a freshman, providing the team with 13 points courtesy of seven goals and six assists … Started season off fast with a pair of three-point games at the Navy Open (1g, 2a vs. Penn State-Behrend; 2g, 1a vs. Mount San Antonio College) … Set a season-high with four points (3g, 1a) against Harvard as part of the Princeton Invitational … Assisted on two goals versus No. 11 Concordia … Scored against No. 6 UC Santa Barbara … Served as an important defensive sub down the stretch for Navy, appearing in six of the team's seven postgame contests.

High School / Personal: A 2012 graduate of Jesuit College Prep … Spent a year at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. prior to attending Naval Academy … Competed on the club water polo team at Jesuit College Prep and also picked up three letters in rugby … Three-time All-Region selection in water polo while serving as the team captain during senior season … Two-time All-State selection in rugby … Led team to a 15-0 record and a state title in rugby in 2010 … Son of Kurt and Peggy Metcalf … Father, Kurt (’91), is a 1991 graduate of the Naval Academy and his brother, Daniel, was a member of the rugby team at Penn State.
