SOPHOMORE - 2013: Earned a spot on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-American Honorable Mention team with a breakout sophomore campaign ... the CWPA Southern Division Player of the Year posted a career-high 74 points on 58 goals and 16 assists over 31 games played ... besides goals, also led the team with 113 shots ... recorded the most steals amongst field players with 31 thefts ... notched points in 28 of 31 games ... scored goals in each of his first 11 games (24 in total) ... twice scored a career-high six points in a game, versus Johns Hopkins (5g, 1a) and versus Cerritos (4g, 2a) ... on 15 occasions recorded three or more points, including all three games of the CWPA Championship to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.
FRESHMAN - 2012: Dowzicky appeared in 24 games, tallying 18 points (11 g, 7 a) ... his 24 games played tied classmate Will Weggeland for the most played by a freshman in 2012 ... scored a season-high four points (3 g, 1 a) in a win over Penn State Behrend ... scored three points (2 g, 1 a) in a big win late in the year against Princeton ... scored two points (1 g, 1 a) in the second game of the year against Iona.
PERSONAL: Dowzicky graduated from Germantown Academy in 2012 after lettering four times in both water polo and swimming ... was a two-time team MVP in water polo and a two-time recipient of the Scholar-Athete Award ... son of Michael and Robin Dowzicky ... majoring in ocean engineering.
