2016 (Sophomore): Played in 20 games on the year, tallying 19 points on four goals and 19 assists … Third on the team in assists … Had a season-high four points against Caltech, recording a season-best four assists … Also had multiple assists against LaSalle (2a) and Mercyhurst (2a) … Added assists against Brown, Toronto, Johns Hopkins (2x), Fordham, Wagner, and Bucknell … Scored goals against Brown, William & Jefferson, Wagner and Fordham … Notched 22 steals on the defensive side of the pool.

2015 (Freshman): Top freshmen option for Navy in 2015, playing in 22 of 28 games … Recorded 12 points with five goals and seven assists … In first collegiate weekend at the Navy Open, notched a season-high three points with two goals and an assist versus Cal Lutheran … Also had multiple points versus Fordham (1g, 1a) and Johns Hopkins (1g, 1a) … Named CWPA Southern Division Rookie of the Week on Oct. 23 in recognition of four-point (1g, 3a) weekend versus CWPA foes George Washington, Bucknell, and Johns Hopkins … Added 11 steals on the defensive end of the pool.

High School / Personal: An Annapolis native who attended the Loyola Blakefield School in Towson and competed on the varsity water polo and swimming teams for three years each … Selected to the 2013-14 NISCA Boys All-America Water Polo Third Team … Named MVP on multiple occasions, garnering the accolade with Loyola Blakefield at the Eastern Prep Championships and with Navy Aquatic Club at the 2013 American Water Polo National State Challenge … Spent a semester abroad in South Africa to go to school and play water polo … Attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, Ala. during the 2014-15 school year … Son of David Bernhardt and Lori Livingston … Father, David (’89), is a commander in the Navy and graduated USNA in 1989 … Sister, Blair, was a member of the Louisville women’s lacrosse team from 2013-16 … High school teammates Zach Hoelting (’19) and J.P. Clancy (’18) are on the USNA swim team.
