ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Highlighted by Jackson Hummeldorf's and Tyler Barker's 4.00 GPAs, the Navy water polo team placed eight student-athletes on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Acedemic teams. To be eligible for the squad, a student-athlete needs to have a 3.20 cumulative GPA through at least one semester. The group is then split into three teams; outstanding (3.71 - 4.00 GPA), superior (3.41 - 3.70 GPA) and excellent (3.20 - 3.40 GPA).
Hummeldorf (4.00; Ocean Engineering), Barker (4.00; Honors Systems Engineering) and Vikram Kanth (3.88; Computer Engineering) were all named to the Outstanding squad.
