Last Time Out
The Navy water polo team (13-14, 2-6 CWPA South) went 3-0 during home play last weekend at Scott Natatorium. Scouting Penn State Behrend (First Round Opponent)
#12 Seed - Lions (0-23)
PSU Behrend comes in to the CWPA Southern Division Championship in search of its first win of 2013. Though winless, the Lions have been competitive recently with a pair of losses in the their last three games coming by just three goals.
The team is led offensive by a trio of 40-plus point scorers: Justin Vink (26g-20a), Logan McCarthy (35g-10a) and Matt Johnson (28g-15a).
Ty Elder has seen all of the action in goal for the Lions. The sophomore goalie has made 302 total saves with 64 steals.

Quoting the Coach
Interim Head Coach Stanicic on this weekend's competition...
"This is what we have worked for. If we want to keep extending our season, there can be no more slip-ups and opportunities left on the table. We've had some really good practices this week and I believe that we will show that last four games were not a fluke. That said, I cannot recall Southerns ever being this strong and no one is going to be an easy opponent. We're looking forward to this weekend."
