• Huntley in 2011-12 (Jr.): One of four wrestlers to garner NCAA Championship berths, Huntley received an automatic bid at 174 pounds following a second-place showing at the EIWA Championship ... turned in a 24-12 record on the year, including a 7-3 dual meet mark ... competed in seven tournaments, five during the regular season ... won his first three matches of the yar en route to a second-place finish at the Eastern Michigan Open, dropping an 8-5 decision to All-American Nick Heflin in the championship bout ... kicked off a seven-match winning streak at the Wrestle for a Cure Duals where he took all three matches over his Buffalo, Nebraska and Kent State foes ... won his next three matches, including a 3-1 decision over West Virginia's Lance Bryson to win the Navy Classic title ... placed third at the All-Academy Championship with a 4-3 victory over VMI's Matthew Brock ... earned a 6-0 victory over Army's Collin Wittmeyer to lead the Mids to their 12th in a row over the Black Knights ... opened the EIWA Championship with a 6-4 sudden victory over Cornell's William George and followed up with another sudden victory, a 3-1 decision over 16th-ranked Greg Zannetti of Rutgers, to punch his ticket into the championship bout ... narrowly lost a 3-2 decision to Brown's Dave Foxen in the finals ... produced a 3-2 record at the NCAA Championship ... after dropping his opening bout to national runnerup of Stanford, he bounced back to win three in a row, including a 2-1 decision over eighth-ranked Leroy Munster of Northwestern.
• 2010-11 (So.): After his rookie campaign was cut short due to injury, Huntley came back to the mat in fine form where he put together a 22-14 record wrestling the majority of the season at 174 pounds ... wrestled the final eight matches of the season at 197 pounds where he put together a 5-3 record which featured a second-place performance at the All-Academy Championship and a seventh-place effort at the EIWA Championship ... captured seventh place at the EIWA Championship behind an 11-7 victory over Columbia's Mike Pushpak ... placed in five of the seven tournaments in which he competed ... placed fifth at the Nittany Lion Open, as well as the Navy Classic ... opened the season with a sixth-place finish at the Eastern Michigan Open ... posted a 3-1 mark in dual action which included a 5-3 decision over Oklahoma's Jeff James ... also helped Navy secure its 11th-consecutive win over arch rival Army by way of defeating Orion Ross in a 15-6 major decision ... upset eighth-ranked Scott Glasser of Minnesota in the opening round of the Southern Scuffle, 6-1 ... was among 93 Div. I wrestlers nationwide to be named to the 2010-11 National Wrestling Coaches Association's All-Academic Team.
• 2009-10 (Fr.): Amassed a 10-5 record before suffering a devastating season-ending knee injury at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational in early December ... did not place at the season-opening Eastern Michigan Open, however, he earned his first-collegiate win with a 13-5 major decision over Northwestern's Robert Kellogg ... swept the competition to win the Navy Classic 165-pound title that featured a double overtime sudden victory win over teammate Robby Neill in the title match ... upset 20th-ranked Rick Schmelyun of Bloomsburg in the semis to earn a spot in the finals ... pinned 19th-ranked Donnie Jones of West Virginia in just over a minute at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
• High School: A 2008 graduate of Colonial Forge High School, Huntley attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2008-09 academic year ... a four-year standout wrestler in high school, who also earned three letters as an outside linebacker on the football team ... four-time state placewinner who claimed the 2008 Virginia state title at 174 pounds behind a 45-4 record ... led Colonial Forge to back-to-back Virginia State Championships in 2007 and `08 ... garnered All-State (Va.) honors all four years ... served as team captain of the wrestling team in his senior year.
• Personal: Son of Lt. Col. Peter and Krista Huntley ... father wrestled at Old Dominion ... majoring in Information Technology and holds a 3.27 GPA ... has been named to the Commandant's List in five of his six semesters at the Academy ... has also earned mention on the Dean's and Superintendent's Lists ... stands among the top 15 percent of his class (1,089) in military order of merit and the top 30th percentile in academic order of merit ... his service assignment is Special Warfare.
