• Jackson in 2010-11 (So.): Registered an 8-5 record among the three tournaments in which he saw action ... opened the year with a second-place finish at the Clarion Knight Point ... posted his first-career win in what was his first-collegiate bout, a fall in 2:20 against Thiel's Tommy Morrison ... followed up with a fourth-place performance at the Navy Classic ... also participated at the Southern Scuffle.

• High School: A 2008 graduate of Rising Sun High School, Jackson attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2008-09 academic year ... a four-year letterwinner, who was a three-time Maryland State Champion and a four-time placewinner (3rd, 1st, 1st, 1st) ... a four-time all-county selection who served as team captain his junior and senior years ... placed third at the NCWA Nationals while attending NAPS.
