Sunday's tournament will provide an early test for the Mids with multiple nationally-ranked individuals entered in the competition.
The Mids won 33 of the 40 individual matches on Sunday in their opening weekend of action.
Senior team captain Peyton Walsh received three awards, including the award named after Hall of Famer Ed Peery.
• 2013-14 (So.): Competed in four tournaments, including the Navy Classic where he took sixth after bowing out with an injury ... turned in a 4-2 mark at the Shorty Hitchcock Open ... finished the year with a 7-8 record.
• 2012-13 (Fr.): Turned in an 8-7 record in his rookie season where he competed at four tournaments ... earned his first collegiate victory in what was his first collegiate match, a 4-2 decision over Lycoming’s Andrew Reca at the Knight Point Open ... placed fifth at the Franklin & Marshall Open after defeating Kent State’s Alex Rice.
• High School: A 2012 graduate of Shoreham-Wading River High School, Keck was a four-year wrestling letterwinner ... garnered All-State (N.Y.), all-county and all-league honors as a senior ... placed third at Super 32 Nationals in 2011 ... served as team captain his junior and senior years ... member of the National Honor Society ... a three-time New York State Scholar-Athlete.
