2009-10 (So.): Put together a 6-2 record among the two tournaments in which he competed ... opened up with a second-place effort at the Eastern Michigan Open where he was dealt an 8-3 loss in the finals by 11th-ranked Luke Manuel of Purdue ... reached the finals by way of a 6-2 tie-breaker against Michigan State's Ian Hinton ... went on to place eighth at the talent-packed Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational ... was forced to bow out of the tournament due to injury, defaulting in his final two matches ... did not compete during the spring season.
2008-09 (Fr.): Falls in line with what has been a solid contingent of freshman wrestlers at the Naval Academy ... finished the year with a 36-11 record at 174 pounds, the second-most wins by a freshman in school history ... it was one off the record set by Tyrone Neal in 1998-99 ... he is one of only four freshman in school history to reach the 30-win milestone ... meanwhile, the 36 wins are the third most in program history at 174 pounds ... one of five Navy wrestlers to earn NCAA Tournament berths, Rebertus punched his ticket to the championship after finishing fifth at the EIWA Championship in what was one of the most competitive weight classes across the country ...
