• Miller in the Summer of 2011: Represented the United States at the 2011 FILA Junior World Championships on July 30-31 in Bucharest, Romania ... scored back-to-back victories over Virginia's Derek Papagianopoulos to take the 120 kg weight class (freestyle) at the 2011 FILA Junior World Team Trials held in Franklin, Ind. at the end of May ... produced a 3-0, 2-1 victory over Papagianopoulos in the opening round before defeating the Cavalier in round two, 4-3 and 4-0 ... qualified to wrestle at the 2011 FILA Junior World Team Trials after placing third at the FILA Junior Nationals held in Cleveland ... ironically, he also defeated Papagianopoulos (3-0, 4-3) to take third place at the Nationals event.
• 2010-11 (So.): Turned in a 19-11 record overall, including a 4-1 mark in dual action ... competed in seven tournament, placing among the top eight in four ... opened the year at the Eastern Michigan Open, finishing in the seventh/eighth place match ... followed up by defeating teammate Mike Landis, 7-4, to take the Navy Classic heavyweight title ... posted a 3-1 record at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational before bowing out of the event with an injury and did not place ... also competed at the Reno Tournament of Champions and the Southern Scuffle ... placed second at the All-Academy Championship and seventh at the EIWA Championship ... opened the dual season with a 3-1 loss to 11th-ranked Nathan Fernandez of Oklahoma, but went on to win four in a row, including an 11-4 decision over Army's Daniel Mills to help the Mids clinch their 11th-straight win over the Black Knights ... also recorded falls against his Liberty and North Carolina foes in dual competition.
