• Walsh in 2012-13 (So.): One of six wrestlers who earned berths to the NCAA Championship, Walsh produced a 28-13 record which included a 6-1 dual record ... placed in six of the eight tournaments in which he competed, including winning titles at the Eastern Michigan Open and the All-Academy Championship ... defeated Michigan State's Bobby Nash by a 4-2 decision to take the crown at the Eastern Michigan Open ... suffered his first loss of the season at the Roadrunner Open where he lost to Stanford's Jim Wilson to place second ... finished fifth at the Navy Classic and sixth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational ... pinned (1:36) Army's Paul Hancock to win the All-Academy Championship ... placed fourth at the EIWA Championship to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship where he would bow out after two matches ... suffered his lone dual loss against Army's Paul Hancock (9-5) ... earned dual victories over George Mason's Ty Knepp (9-3), Lehigh's Ben Haas (fall, 3:57), Maryland's Domenic DeRobertis (14-2), North Carolina's John Staudenmayer (2-0), Rutgers' Nick Visicaro (11-5) and American's Phillip Barreiro (6-2).
