• Winning in 2015-16 (Jr.): Turned in a 7-9 mark among the five tournaments in which he competed - East Stroudsburg Open, Navy Classic, Franklin & Marshall Open, Shorty Hitchcock Memorial, Edinboro Open.
• 2014-15 (So.): Put together a combined 4-4 record at the Franklin & Marshall Open and the Edinboro Open ... scored a 12-7 win over Shane Gilmore of Millersville at the Franklin & Marshall Open for his first collegiate victory.
• 2013-14 (Fr.): Did not see any varsity action.
• High School: A 2012 graduate of Poolesville High School in Poolesville, Md., Winning attended Old Dominion University during the 2012-13 academic year ... a two-sport athlete, he lettered three times in both football and wrestling ... two-time Montgomery County champion (2010-11, 2011-12) and region champion ... placed fifth in the 1A/2A Maryland State Wrestling Championship as a junior and third as a senior ... garnered first-team all-county wrestling recognition as a junior and senior ... served as captain of the wrestling team his junior and senior years and was also named the team MVP in both of those seasons ... also voted the captain of the football team his senior year ... was the Vice President of his graduating class ... recipient of the Certificate of Meritorious Achievement for his more than 300 community service hours served.
• Personal: Son of Craig and Lillian Winning ... grandfather Charles E. Jackson graduated from the Naval Academy in 1946 ... majoring in History ... named to the Commandant’s List three times ... stands 295th in Military Order of Merit among his 1,085 classmates ... his service assignment is Navy Special Warfare.
